David Beaumont: Mallee Suite

For more than two years, Queenscliff-based artist David Beaumont focused on painting the Mallee region of north-western Victoria. The culmination of this exploration is the Mallee Suite, large scale abstract oil paintings and vibrant sculptures that have successfully captured the iconic open spaces and big skies of our idiosyncratic corner of the world.

Join the artist and Gallery staff on opening weekend for an informative tour to learn more about the theory behind the work.


Acrylic painting workshop with David Beaumont

Thursday 4 September, 5:00 – 7:00pm
$70 per person, bookings required.

Working in acrylic and adding medium to push the materiality of the paint, join David in this abstract landscape workshop focused on layering, edging and space. Each participant will come away with a completed work.
