Calico Women Workshop with Simon Fisher

Join us for a creative workshop dedicated to celebrating the strength, beauty and resilience of women through art.

This two-hour workshop, with local artist Simon Fisher, is an opportunity to explore and express your unique voice and honour the women who inspire you through the creation of a calico figure, reminiscent of Simon’s artwork Homage to African Women currently being exhibited in the Gallery.

Bring your own memorabilia, beads, buttons and personal paraphernalia to weave into the story of your calico creation.
