Join us for the Con Kroker Memorial Lecture with Demi Kromidellis at Horsham Regional Art Gallery.

As part of her debut exhibition Ancestral Silence, Kromidellis will discuss her photographic practice exploring heritage, memory, and identity. Hear how her journey to Greece in 2024—documenting her grandparents’ abandoned homes—shaped a body of work that reflects on cultural belonging and the legacies of migration. This lecture celebrates photography and supports artistic development through conversation and insight.

This lecture is held through the support of the Con Kroker Lecture Memorial Trust.

Demi Kromidellis is a multi-award winning emerging artist that has completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) at the Victorian College of the Arts, The University of Melbourne.

Her photographic work has been exhibited at Abbotsford Convent, 138 Gallery, the Museum of Australian Photography, and Te Waka Tūhura Gallery in Auckland, New Zealand. She was shortlisted for the Majlis Travelling Scholarship at the Fiona and Sidney Myer Gallery, and was the recipient of the Evans Family Award for Photography at the VCA Graduate Show 2023, as well as the Fiona Myer Award at the VCA Graduate Exhibition 2024.
