Mastering Drawing with local artist and illustrator Shane Boland is an opportunity for anyone to develop their drawing skills, no matter what level you are at. Over two sessions Shane will be teaching disciplines encompassing pencil technique and giving you the opportunity to discover through observation. In order to paint you must be able to draw.
Shane will take you through:
– Scale/composition/light and shade/texture.
– Importance of line, become the pencil.
– How to hold a pencil, freedom of expression.
– Drapery, a focus on light, shade and shadow.

Studies will include, chair, still life, your own hand, botanical study, eagle head profile.

Each session is $45 per person. Materials included with light refreshments.
